While firefighters continue to battle The Camp Fire in Butte County. The death toll has inched up to 81 in the state’s most destructive and deadliest wildfire, there are still nearly 870 people unaccounted for. While expected rain could aid crews fighting the deadly wildfire it could also raise the risk of debris flows and complicate efforts to recover remains. The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for the smoldering town of Paradise and nearby communities.
