Following Four decades of serving up breakfast in Baywood Park, a popular breakfast spot is closing. The Sculptured Egg opened 43-years ago and the owners, Jeff and Marlene have decided it was time to retire. The timing seems to be perfect for the owners of High Street Deli, who were looking to expand. Randy Coates plans to open a High Street Deli takeout window in the back of the building with the same menu as the San Luis Obispo sandwich shop. While renovating the front of the building for a future second restaurant that will focus on lunch and dinner. His plans also include another High Street deli in the future San Luis Obispo Public Market on South Higuera.
