Below freezing temps early this morning in San Luis Obispo’s North County created icy road conditions. CHP officers responded to a number of crashes in the Atascadero area. The first accident happened at around 1:30 a.m. when two vehicles came together after a spinout on Northbound 101 near the San Diego Way off-ramp. A single-vehicle incident was reported at about 5 a.m. on the southbound 101 near Santa Rosa Road. At about the same time another crash was reported. Again, near the San Diego Way off-ramp. Thankfully no injuries were reported.
