An unarmed Minuteman was launched late last night from Vandenberg Air Force Base at 11:01. According to a press release from the base, “While Global Strike Command representatives assert that missile tests are scheduled months or years in advance, this test comes just four short days after the Trump administration suspended the U.S. from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty, a crucial landmark Treaty between the U.S. and Russia that eliminated entire categories of nuclear weapons.”
