San Luis Obispo City parks officials have had just about enough with littering. Especially from hikers looking for a signature shot of San Luis Obispo from the top of Terrace Hill. The hikers apparently are taking selfies while tossing confetti. Parks Officials have posted a warning sign at the Terrace Hill Open Space trailhead, warning hikers of a possible fine up to 561 dollars. Not only is the confetti and glitter a hassle to clean by the park rangers and staff, but it also has an effect on the environment.
