Tiny Homes are now a thing within the city limits of San Luis Obispo. An ordinance that would allow tiny homes was approved by the city council back in November. Officials think the 400-square-foot dwellings on wheels could be an affordable housing solution. Under the new ordinance that went into effect yesterday, tiny homes can be used as a residence or a vacation rental. The San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors is currently working on a similar ordinance.
