San Luis Obispo Police say one of their officers was knocked unconscious during a scuffle with a suspect on St Patty’s Day. Officials say it started with an argument between three men and bar employees in the 700 block of Higuera. When officers arrived, One of the men was arrested for being drunk in public. His two cohorts began fighting with the officers. One of those officers was knocked unconscious while they were trying to put cuffs on the suspects. He was treated at an area hospital. The suspect was arrested for assault on a police officer. The other for probation violations and drug charges.
