The San Luis Obispo Council of Governments is taking suggestions on how to make a dangerous and at times deadly intersection south of Arroyo Grande safer. 18-year-old Jordan Grant was killed at the intersection of El Campo and Highway 101 back in October. SLOCOG now wants to close the left-hand turn lane. A recent study showed that would dramatically cut down collisions in the area. Jordan Grant’s family says the move is a step in the right direction, but they would like to see more done. SLOCOG is taking comments until Tuesday at PIO at SLOCOG dot Org.
