A couple of proposed hotels near the San Luis Obispo Airport could bring more than 200 rooms to the area. Developers say the hotels could potentially serve business professionals on work trips, including technology industry workers, as well as Edna Valley wine country visitors and other local tourists. The hotels would be built on a 5-acre parcel of land on Aero Drive. The proposal is currently in the early planning stages. Construction could begin as soon as spring of next year.
