Gas Prices Break 4 Dollar Mark

Gas prices continue to soar throughout California and experts point to issues at refineries as the main culprit. Lower inventories have forced the price of gas to a state average of 3.89 a gallon for regular. The 4 dollar mark has been broken at a number of several gas stations on the Central Coast. A number of Chevron Stations have reported the highest prices in San Luis Obispo at 4.19 a gallon. The Shell station on East Main in Santa Maria has regular gas at 4.25 a gallon and 4.39 a gallon was found at the Chevron on Five Cities Drive in Pismo Beach.
