Lompoc Police say they have a suspect in custody in the case of a murdered 74-year old woman. Investigators say witness information led them to 35-year-old Melissa Martin. She was taken into custody yesterday. Eldri Jauch was first reported missing late last week. Over the weekend her body was found in Martin’s apartment. Investigators caught up with Martin in the Buellton Santa Ynez area yesterday afternoon. She was booked on suspicion of murder.
