Stabbing Suspect In 11-Year-Old Case Found Guilty

A third suspect has been found guilty of second-degree murder in the stabbing death of a man in Guadalupe. Santa Barbara County prosecutors say Leonel Torres fled to Mexico following the stabbing of James Christie in 2008. Law enforcement caught up with Torres and he was extradited back to the U.S. in 2016. Two other people were convicted for the crime in 2010. Torres is now facing 15-year-to-life in state prison when he’s sentenced next month.
