Lompoc Police Detectives are continuing their investigation into the city’s 5th homicide since March. Police officers were called out to a report of a shooting incident on North 4th street at about midnight Sunday. When officers arrived they found 25-year-old Deandre LeJames Valrie suffering from several gunshot wounds. He was taken to an area hospital where he would later die.
