The San Luis Obispo Swim Center will be hosting a Family Water Safety Day this weekend. Tomorrow’s event is intended to build a safer community by providing a number of resources on how to be safe around an aquatic environment. There will be information booths will give advice on pool safety, emphasize the importance of personal flotation devices and give tips on how to help someone who is struggling in the water. The all-ages program is from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the SLO Swim Center by Sinsheimer Park.
