CHP investigators are searching for the man they believe was involved in a deadly hit and run crash early yesterday morning. Investigators say Pedro Alvarado-Torres was driving the wrong way in the northbound lanes of the 101 near Niblick Road at around 2 a.m. when he collided with another vehicle. The two came to rest in the center divider. Two other drivers pulled over to help, but debris in the road caused another vehicle to crash into the Good Samaritans. 55-year-old Monica Cantu would die from her injuries and 49-year-old Raul Gomez was hospitalized with major injuries. Torres fled before officers arrived. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked t contact the CHP.
