Santa Maria High School students will notice a lot of on-campus construction when they return to school. Crews are currently working on a building that’s designed to replace some older buildings that date back to the 1930’s. The new three-story building will include Administration offices, 50 classrooms, science labs and, culinary arts classrooms. The 35 million dollar project will also have what some of the older buildings don’t, air conditioning. Construction scheduled to be completed by 2022.
