SLO South County Non-Profits Get Flexibility From County Board of Supervisors

A couple of non-profit groups with plans to help the homeless in San Luis Obispo’s South County are being given some flexibility with their plans. The San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors decision will help the 5Cities Homeless Coalition and People’s Self Help Housing keep 2.6 million dollars in funding. That was going to be used to buy the Hillside Church in Grover Beach. That site is currently tied up in a lawsuit. Both groups have to find a new location by the beginning of 2020 or risk losing all of their funding.
