3,000 Cannabis Plants Seized

More than 3,000 cannabis plants were seized last week in rural Arroyo Grande. San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Deputies and narcotics detectives investigated a possible grow near high Mountain Road at around 7 Thursday morning. They found more than 3,000 seedlings on both private and national forest land. According to a press release, investigators believe that if the plants were left to mature, they would have been worth more than 20 million dollars. No arrests were made at the time of the seizure. The investigation is ongoing.
