Voters in Templeton have approved the parcel tax measure that will fund the community’s Fire Department. Measure A requires property owners to pay an additional 15 dollars a month to keep the Templeton Fire Department fully staffed. The San Luis Obispo County Clerk Recorder’s Office sent out more than 4,670 ballots. Close to 2,000 were returned. 1551 residents voted yes and 440 voted no. The recorder’s office says ballots will continue to be counted over the next few days. Official results aren’t expected until sometime next month.
