CHP investigators, the Lompoc Police Department, and the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s office Say a recent enforcement operation landed more than a dozen people behind bars. The operation was focused on Auto theft-related crimes. According to the CHP, the team made 15 arrests in 9 hours. Two of them were for auto theft and 13 more for an assortment of violations. Five stolen vehicles were recovered, and more than 40 citations were issued.
