Santa Maria Police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead yesterday afternoon. Authorities say officers were called out to 805 Tacos on West Main Street just before 3:30 to a report of a shooting. When they arrived they found a 33-year-old male victim. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment but would later die. Investigators say it’s unclear if the shooting was gang-related.
