California Lawmaker Wants PG&E Hearing

A California lawmaker wants a hearing to find out what PG&E officials plan to do to prevent future problems with wildfires and massive power outages. Representative Josh Harder, from Turlock, is asking the House Energy and Commerce Committee to call the utility company to Capitol Hill for an oversight hearing. Harder recognized that, while PG&E was not responsible for the weather, they are responsible for their equipment. PG&E is on the hook for billions of dollars in liabilities stemming from recent deadly wildfires.
