Morro Bay Police are on the lookout for an armed robbery suspect this morning. Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery on Kennedy Way at around 5:40 p.m… A suspect had walked into the Check into Cash, brandished a gun and demanded the clerk open the safe. When the safe couldn’t be opened he tied the clerk up and left her in a bathroom. The suspect did get away with an undetermined amount of cash. Police say it’s the second robbery at that location since December of last year.
