An Atascadero man needed to be rescued after being trapped in a scissor lift Saturday morning. Officials say he became trapped 45-feet in the air when his lift came into contact with some powerlines while he was trimming trees on North Ferrocarril Road. Atascadero firefighters used a ladder truck to get the man to safety. He was transported to the trauma unit at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center for treatment of multiple severe burns.
