Firefighters battling the Cave Fire are getting a hand from mother nature this morning. The worries grow as a new wildfire erupted in the mountains above Santa Barbara on Monday. Scotty Jalpert, chief of Cal Fire’s San Luis Obispo Unit, says the season should be drawing to a close but the “Cave Fire” is keeping them busy. Many evacuees below the Cave Fire burn area are now facing the possibility of debris flows and rains approach the area.
