Cal Poly Racial Profiling Investigation Goes To State Attorney General

An allegation that a Cal Poly faculty member was racially profiled by a Campus police officer is headed to the State Attorney General’s Office. School officials say the matter needed to be forwarded to the Attorney General’s Office due to its serious nature. According to union officials, a faculty member of color involved in a traffic stop continues to feel unsafe on campus. Cal Poly Officials say they have also forwarded the matter to their Office of Equal Opportunity.
