Morro Bay Police arrested a man this week they say grabbed an officer’s gun during a struggle. It started Tuesday evening at the Tidelands Park boat launch area. Officers were answered a call about two men fighting. When they arrived, one man was face down on the ground, in distress. Police say 33-year-old Justin Porter was standing over the victim. When officers tried to put Porter in a car he began resisting and grabbed an officer’s weapon. He’s now facing numerous charges and being held in lieu of 25,000 dollars bail.
