The I.T. Department for San Luis Obispo County says the radio system used by first responders is outdated and needs to be replaced. Officials say the current analog radios should be updated to digital to be more reliable during an emergency. The move to a digital system will take time, and roughly 6.1 million dollars. The county I.T. department will propose the project this morning at the County Board of Supervisors meeting at 9.
