Santa Barbara County has reported the first COVID-19 related death. Officials made the announcement yesterday. According to the county’s public health officer Dr. Henning Ansorg, The person who died was a North County resident in their 60’s. No other details were released. Santa Barbara County currently has 111 confirmed cases of coronavirus. 17 are in the hospital, with 13 are in ICU. The remainder is recovering at home.
