A former City Fire Chief is now the head of the SLO Food Bank. Garret Olson has been with the food bank for the past month and a half in a fulltime, but temporary position. He took over as CEO earlier this week. According to the SLO Food Bank’s website, Olson was invited to join the SLO Food Bank Team as the temporary COVID Emergency Operations Manager.” According to KSBY, former CEO Kevin Drabinski left under a “mutual agreement.”
