San Luis Obispo County is moving forward in reopening more businesses. Wedding ceremonies will be allowed starting Friday, but the state is not allowing receptions or after parties. Spas, nail salons, massage therapy, and body art facilities can also reopen with modifications beginning Friday. Meanwhile, Santa Barbara County HAD planned to make a similar move to reopen personal care businesses. But a recent spike in COVID-19 hospitalizations and active cases has put that plan on pause.
