We’re learning more about the man investigators say went on a shooting spree in Paso Robles last week. 26-year-old Mason Lira died in a gunfight with officers following a 36-hour manhunt. He was wanted for shooting and killing a man along the train tracks in Paso Robles and shooting a San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s deputy in the face early Wednesday morning. According to KSBY, he was caught on surveillance video burglarizing a business on Osos Street. He got away with several items including two guns, and ammunition. He later threatened to shoot an RTA driver. The investigation is ongoing.
