Nipomo Couple Busted For Drugs And Guns

A Nipomo couple is behind bars this morning after a search warrant turned up guns and drugs. San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s investigators say 35-year-old Kent Lawson was arrested in June for being a felon in possession of a firearm and narcotics for sale. While he was out on bail, authorities say Lawson returned to his original lifestyle. During a traffic stop this week, police found more drugs and weapons in his car. His Female companion was also arrested for outstanding felony warrants. Bail was set at 100,000 dollars each.
