Starting today, a number of Santa Barbara County businesses will be allowed to move some operations indoors. Santa Barbara County is now listed in the red tier. Retail shops, shopping centers, malls, swap meets, can reopen at 50 percent capacity. Places of worship, restaurants, and movie theatres can open indoors with a max capacity of 25% or 100 people. If the county can stay in the red tier for two weeks, schools could re-open with restrictions as soon as Oct. 13.
