A Santa Maria woman has been charged with murder in the case of a man whose body was found at a Nipomo golf course earlier this year. 36-year-old Kimberly Machleit is one of three people connected to the shooting death of Joseph Govey in 2018. Govey’s dismembered remains were dumped in a pond at Blacklake golf course. Machleit is due back in court early next month for arraignment. preliminary hearings for her cohorts are scheduled for December 14th.
