Pismo Beach Police Chief Jake Miller is retiring. He has been with Pismo Beach P.D. for the past 27 years, working his way through every rank in the department until being appointed top cop in 2014. Miller is the only officer in the department’s history to go from rookie to chief. He called his time on the force a blessing. Chief Miller’s last day will be April 1st. A search for his replacement is expected to take several months.
