Several women who have accused President Trump of sexual misconduct are calling for a congressional investigation into his alleged behavior. At media event today, two women recounted episodes in which they say President Trump forcibly kissed or groped them. A third woman described an instance in which she says Trump entered a changing room for Miss USA contestants. The women, who spoke out before President Trump's election, said their claims fell on "deaf ears," until the #Me Too movement gained traction. Jessica Leeds, who alleges Trump put his hand up her skirt on an airplane more than 30 years ago, said the President should be held to the same standards that other powerful men have been since the Harvey Weinstein scandal broke.
The press conference was hosted by Brave New Films, a nonprofit that recently made a short film titled "16 Women and Donald Trump. " It features sixteen women who have accused the president of misconduct.
