Bakersfield Man Faces Life In Prison

A Bakersfield man was in a San Luis Obispo courtroom yesterday, facing a number of charges connected to a fatal crash on Highway 166 last year. 37-year-old Jerald Brandon Holman has pleaded no contest to two counts of murder and one count of felony driving under the influence. According to prosecutors, Holman was driving under the influence on September 5th last year when he collided with another car on highway 166. Four people in the other car were injured and his two step-children ages 4 and 7-years-old were killed. Holman's blood alcohol level was point 1-1 four hours following the crash. He's set to be scheduled on September 18th.
