Judge Neil Gorsuch has been confirmed by the Senate to sit on the Supreme Court.
The Senate made it official Friday with a confirmation vote of 54-45.
Gorsuch will leave his seat on the US Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit in Denver to become the high court's 113th justice. He will replace the late Antonin Scalia and is expected to restore the court's 5-4 tilt in favor of conservatives.
He will hear his first arguments a week from today.
