November 26th, 2018

Last May a NASA Atlas 5 rocket blasted off from Vandenberg Air Force Base with a payload headed for Mars. After traveling 301-million miles, the "Insight" project is scheduled to land on the Martian surface sometime today. Officials are hopeful the landing goes as planned and a pair of Cubesats that were tested at Cal Poly will be able to transmit seismic and atmoshperic data back to earth.
