Santa Maria Man's Murder Sentenced

A man Prosecutors say planned the murder of a Santa Maria man from jail has been sentenced to at least 50-years in prison. Joseph Morales is one of four people arrested for the shooting death of Javier Limon back in 2014. His body was discovered in a field in Guadalupe. Investigators say Morales was in L.A. County Jail at the time of the murder but planned the shooting using a contraband cell phone. He was sentenced to 55-years to life in prison.
