The wildfire burning in Ventura County has exploded again and now covers 70-thousand acres. Officials say the fire is completely out of control and has destroyed at least 150 homes and other buildings. Strong Santa Ana winds continue to drive the raging inferno. Many homes in the city of Ventura are burned to the ground and many more are threatened. The fire has destroyed an apartment complex in downtown Ventura and a behavioral health center. More than seven-thousand homes are under a mandatory evacuation order. Fire officials say 27-thousand people have been evacuated.
