Morro Bay Police say officers arrested a man early Friday morning for public intoxication. 49-year-old James Forte was allegedly spotted running down the 2100 block of Main Street naked at about 2 a.m… he allegedly approached the police vehicle in an aggressive manner and began pounding on it while yelling at an officer. He allegedly assaulted an officer before being tased and taken into custody. He’s now facing a number of assault and drug charges.
