The San Miguel man accused of attempted murder after shooting his girlfriend in the neck with a .22-caliber rifle will be spending some time behind bars. Even without testimony from his alleged victim, the jury found 38-year-old Jim Pinedo guilty of most charges and enhancements against him. Pinedo is due back in court for sentencing. He’s facing at least 30-years to life in prison.
