A car chase that started in Guadalupe, ended yesterday morning with a crash in Santa Maria. Guadalupe police say they had spotted a car that had been reported stolen earlier this week. The suspect led officers onto the 101 headed to Santa Maria. The pursuit ended at the intersection of Broadway and Donovan when the suspect ran a red light, crashing into a pickup truck. Two people were transported to an area hospital for treatment. The 21-year-old suspect is now facing a stack of charges.
