Woman Charged In Death Of Man Attempting To Prevent Her From D.U.I.

A Paso Robles woman has been charged with causing the death of a young man who was trying to stop her from driving drunk. The incident happened at Santa Maria Brewing Co. in Paso Robles. Three days after Christmas, Jose Armando Montes Guillen tried to stop 21-year-old Sarah Hale from driving intoxicated. Investigators say he was thrown to the ground by Hale’s vehicle. The San Luis Obispo County D.A.’s Office has charged Hale with a number of offenses including gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, and fleeing the scene of an accident. She’s due back in court next week.
