Community members overwhelmingly called for the resignation or, outright removal of Cuesta College board president Peter Sysak. Yesterday’s special board of trustees meeting was held after he shared social media posts that critics have called racist, homophobic, and misogynistic. According to the Tribune, Sysak has no plans to step down. The board of trustees voted to investigate the social media posts and hear the findings at its December 9th meeting.
