Morro Bay police are asking for the public’s help in locating hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of equipment stolen from a construction site. Police say the thieves broke into several storage containers on South Bay Boulevard where crews are building the city’s new water reclamation facility. They also stole equipment at a nearby site on Quintana Road. The burglaries happened between 7 p.m. on March 10 and 4 a.m. yesterday.
