San Luis Obispo County Public Health officials have reported 253 new cases of COVID-19 between July 21st and 27th. Almost twice the number reported in the previous seven-day period. Meanwhile, the CDC is recommending that people vaccinated against COVID-19 should wear face masks indoors to prevent the spread of coronavirus in areas where transmission is “substantial” or “high.” according to the Tribune, the recommendation affects 45 of the state’s 58 counties including Santa Barbara County. San Luis Obispo Public Health will hold a press conference tomorrow at 12:15.
