Pismo Beach firefighters responded to reports of a vegetation fire yesterday evening. According to the CHP, flames were reported near Five Cities Drive behind the Oxford Suites at around 6:25. Fire crews had the flames knocked down quickly. Fire officials say the fire started near a homeless encampment. No one was injured in the incident.
